Role Description

The Warehouse Operator is a full-time, on-site role located in the Greater Leicester Area. Day-to-day responsibilities include unloading deliveries, safely handling materials, and moving stock within the warehouse. The role involves packing textile wiping rags and cleaning cloths according to order specifications, preparing items for dispatch, and maintaining accurate stock levels. The Warehouse Operator will operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts where required, and follow all health and safety procedures. The position also includes keeping work areas clean and organized, collaborating with colleagues, and reporting any issues with inventory, equipment, or safety.

Qualifications

• Strong material handling skills, including safe Unloading of goods and efficient movement of stock.
• Experience with Packing, order preparation, and basic warehouse documentation.
• Competent Forklift Operation skills with a valid certification or willingness to exist one.
• Sound understanding of Health & Safety practices in a warehouse or industrial environment.
• Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to follow instructions and procedures.
• Ability to perform physically active work, including lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a small team.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics setting is beneficial but not essential.
