Job summary

INSPIRED Pet Nutrition is hiring a Skilled Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver for our Crick, Northamptonshire site on a permanent days shift. The role covers a 4-on/4-off 12-hour pattern with an average of 42 hours per week.

You will operate FLT, move materials, unload vehicles, and support despatch while following strict safety procedures. The successful candidate will hold a valid FLT licence (counterbalance or reach), have warehouse/manufacturing experience, and strong English literacy.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar warehouse or manufacturing role.
• Valid FLT licence with counterbalance or reach truck experience is essential (certification required)
• A good standard of education, with strong literacy and numeracy skills
• Ability to understand, communicate, and report clearly in English

Responsibilities

• Supply production departments with raw and packaging materials to maintain a continuous production programme
• Transport finished goods from production areas to the warehouse for storage until despatch
• Unload incoming vehicles as required and store materials following acceptance and GRN generation
• Pick and assemble loads for despatch and load outgoing vehicles in line with despatch paperwork
• Work safely at all times, following health and safety policies and procedures and raising any concerns through appropriate channels
• Ensure the FLT fleet is fit for purpose by completing pre-use documentation and reporting any vehicle or plant damage according to procedure
• Participate in training and support the development of colleagues when required, including acting as a mentor for new team members

We are looking for a Skilled Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver to join our manufacturing site in Crick, Northamptonshire. This is a permanent position available on days shift.

• 4 on / 4 off shift pattern (12-hour shifts)
• This shift pattern offers predictability, extended rest periods, and the ability to plan time outside of work.
• Average of 42 hours per week
• Days: 06:00 - 18:00
• Nights Hourly rate: £16.09 (£14.79 plus a shift allowance of £1.30 per hour)
