Job summary

Warehousing Solutions Ltd in Reading is hiring a Warehouse Operative. You could work days or nights, with both full-time and part-time options. Pay starts at £19.50 per hour on days, £22.50 per hour on nights, and overtime/Bank holidays at £25.50 per hour.

The role covers deliveries, stock checks, unloading, packing and accurate record-keeping. Benefits include a pension scheme, medical and dental cover, free family cover, and 50% company-paid transport.

Responsibilities

• Take delivery of goods and sign delivery notes or receipts.
• Check goods for missing or damaged items.
• Unload goods manually or with equipment.
• Stack goods in correct locations and keep records.
• Carry out regular stock control and update records.
• Possibly sell items to customers and pick/pack outbound orders.
• Keep work areas clean and tidy.

Paid on a weekly basis.

Weekends are available.

Starting with £19.50 hour on days and £22.50 hour on nights. Overtime and bank holidays are paid at £25.50 hour.

The Job

The Work

You could be:

• taking delivery of goods and signing the delivery notes or receipts
• checking goods for missing or damaged items
• unloading goods by hand, with trolleys or forklift trucks
• stacking goods in the correct place
• keeping records of goods, normally on a computer
• carrying out stock control on a regular basis
• sometimes selling items to customers
• picking, weighing or packing goods that have to be sent out
• keeping the work areas clean and tidy.
