Job summary

Warehousing Solutions Ltd in London is seeking a Warehouse Operative to handle deliveries, quality checks, unloading, stock control and packing duties. You will work on days or nights, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and safety, and contribute to efficient warehouse operations.

We offer weekly PAYE or self-employed options, pension and medical/dental cover, free family cover, and 50% company transport support. Both full-time and part-time roles are available, with weekend shifts possible.

Responsibilities

• Take delivery of goods and sign delivery notes or receipts.
• Check goods for missing or damaged items.
• Unload goods by hand, with trolleys or forklift trucks.
• Stack goods in the correct places and keep records up to date.
• Carry out stock control and assist with stock checks.
• Sometimes sell items to customers and help with packing orders.
• Maintain clean and tidy work areas.

Full and Part time work is available.

PAYE or Self Employed roles.

Paid on a weekly basis.

Weekends are available.

Starting with £19.50 hour on days and £22.50 hour on nights. Overtime and bank holidays are paid at £25.50 hour.

The Job

The Work

You could be:

• taking delivery of goods and signing the delivery notes or receipts
• checking goods for missing or damaged items
• unloading goods by hand, with trolleys or forklift trucks
• stacking goods in the correct place
• keeping records of goods, normally on a computer
• carrying out stock control on a regular basis
• sometimes selling items to customers
• picking, weighing or packing goods that have to be sent out
• keeping the work areas clean and tidy.
