Job summary

Morris Clarke Recruitment Ltd is seeking a reliable multiskilled shift operative for an ongoing temp position in a UK warehouse. You will perform a range of operational tasks, including receipt and dispatch of goods, loading and unloading, and paperwork control, working with colleagues to maximise space and efficiency.

The role requires readiness to start immediately, with training as needed and duties such as keeping the site clean and adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Multiskilled shift operative capable of undertaking all warehouse operational tasks.
• Experience with goods in/out, receipt and dispatch processes, paperwork control and quality checks may be an asset.
• Willingness to undertake internal and external training and keep the site clean.

Responsibilities

• Unload goods safely from vehicles.
• Assist with delivery and collection of goods including paperwork control, wrapper, palletising and stacking.
• Maintain efficient use of warehouse space with shift colleagues.

Job description

Job Outline: Perform as a multiskilled shift operative capable of undertaking all warehouse operational tasks including receipt and dispatch of products;

Goods In/Out

• Ensure the safe and efficient unloading of customer/supplier vehicles
• Support with the delivery and collection of goods to include paperwork control, emptying, palletising, stacking, quantity and quality checks, checking in, checking out and wrapping as required.
• Work with shift colleagues to ensure that warehouse space is utilised to maximum efficiency.

Other

• Undertake any other duties as directed by the site management team.
• Undergo internal and external training as required.
• Keep all aspects of the site clean.
