Job summary

Gap Personnel is recruiting for Warehouse Operatives for a client based in Swinton, M27. You will move pallets to and from the production line, wrap pallets, and support line stocking while operating manual and electric pulley trucks. Heavy lifting may be required, with a shift pattern starting early mornings.

The role offers a pay rate of £12.71 per hour, with potential overtime at 1.5x for 6am starts during the week. Forklift licence is beneficial but not required.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience.
• Experience in using pulley trucks (manual and electric).
• Forklift licence would be beneficial but not required.
• Know how to use a tape gun and wrapping.

Responsibilities

• Move pallets to and from the production line.
• Wrap pallets and prepare pallets for shipping.
• Move rubbish bins and stock up the line.
• Off-load containers when required and operate pulley trucks.
• Some heavy lifting will be required.

Job description

We are currently recruiting forWarehouse Operatives for our Client based in Swinton, M27.

You will be helping on the production line where you will be responsible for moving pallets to and from production line, wrap pallets, move rubbish bins, stock up line, off load containers when required and operate manual pulley trucks and Electric Pulley Trucks. Some heavy lifting will be required.

The shift pattern:

Mon-Thu 7:50am-4:20pm

Fri 7:50am-4pm

Breaks: 2 x 10minute and 1 x 30 minute (50 minutes unpaid). 2 x 10 minutes will be pad after completing 12 weeks.

Pay rate:

£12.71/hour

There will be a potential for overtime (if required) - 6am starts during the week, pay rate x1.5

Requirements:

previous warehouse experience

experience in using Pulley trucks (manual and electric)

forklift licence would be beneficial, but not required

knowing how to use tape gun and experienced in wrapping
