Job summary

GSF Car Parts is seeking a Warehouse Operative to support branch operations. You will pick and pack orders, check supplier deliveries, and assist with stock checks and returns. This role covers holiday/absence relief on a casual, zero-hour basis.

Applicants should have a track record in a fast-paced warehouse, be able to work under pressure, and value customer service. Knowledge of car parts is desirable and basic numeracy/literacy are required.

About The Role

At GSF Car Parts, our Warehouse Operatives play an important role within the team by always ensuring orders are picked and packed, and ready to be delivered to our customers. They are champions of customer service delivery through efficient coordination of warehouse stock and understand the importance of delivery timeframes.

As a Warehouse Operative working on a zero hour/casual contact, you will support the branch in covering any holidays or absences.

Main Duties Include

• Checking and putting away supplier delivered parts
• Picking and loading vans accurately and in a timely manner;
• Checking customer returns for resale, warranty or surcharge;
• Checking stock quantities are correct against computer whilst also checking stock is stored in the allocated bin locations.

Working Hours

Up to 41 (average) hours Monday to Friday, including alternate Saturday working - depending on the cover needed in the branch.
