Job summary

GSF Car Parts Limited seeks a Warehouse Operative in Exeter. In this role, you will support the branch by ensuring all orders are accurately picked and packed for timely delivery. Your contribution is vital for customer service excellence within our busy warehouse environment.

We are looking for someone with a proven track record in a warehouse, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure. You should also possess basic numeracy and communication skills. Experience in the automotive industry is a plus.

About The Role

At GSF Car Parts, our Warehouse Operatives play an important role within the team by always ensuring orders are picked and packed and ready to be delivered to our customers. They are champions of customer service delivery through efficient coordination of warehouse stock and understand the importance of delivery timeframes.

As a Warehouse Operative working on a zero hour/casual contact, you will support the branch in covering any holidays or absences.

Main Duties include:

• Checking and putting away supplier delivered parts
• Picking and loading vans accurately and in a timely manner
• Checking customer returns for resale, warranty or surcharge
• Checking stock quantities are correct against computer whilst also checking stock is stored in the allocated bin locations.

Working hours:

Up to 41 (average) hours Monday to Friday, including alternate Saturday working - depending on the cover needed in the branch.
