Job summary

GSF Car Parts in the Liverpool region is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our team on a zero-hour casual contract. You will help pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery, ensuring accuracy and efficient stock handling.

This role requires focus under pressure, good teamwork, and basic numeracy. Prior warehouse experience is preferred, and knowledge of car parts is a plus. The position offers flexible hours to cover holidays or absence in branches.

About The Role

At GSF Car Parts, our Warehouse Operatives play an important role within the team by ensuring orders are picked and packed, and ready to be delivered to our customers. They are champions of customer service delivery through efficient coordination of warehouse stock and understand the importance of delivery timeframes. As a Warehouse Operative working on a zero hour/casual contact, you will support the branch in covering any holidays or absences.

Main Duties Include

• Checking and putting away supplier-delivered parts
• Picking and loading vans accurately and in a timely manner
• Checking customer returns for resale, warranty or surcharge
• Checking stock quantities are correct against computer whilst also checking stock is stored in the allocated bin locations

Working Hours

Up to 41 (average) hours Monday to Friday, including alternate Saturday working depending on the cover needed in the branch.
