Job summary

Red Recruitment Group are seeking an experienced day shift warehouse operative / multi drop van driver to support a national client. Duties include order picking, loading/unloading, and delivering automotive components to trade premises across Bristol, Wales and surrounding areas with a Mercedes Sprinter van.

Working hours are 08:00 - 17:30 Monday to Friday, plus every other Saturday 08:00 - 13:00. Interviews are available immediately with start as soon as possible.

• Perform general warehouse operative duties including order picking, offloading deliveries and loading of vans.
• Manual handling and ensuring proof of deliveries for customers.
• Provide a positive customer service experience at all times.

Job description

Red Recruitment Group are currently supporting their National client with a recruitment drive for an experienced day shift warehouse operative / multi drop van driver.

The role will involve delivery of automotive components to trade client premises all over the Bristol, Wales and surrounding areas.

Manual handling, gaining proof of deliveries, offering a positive customer service experience at all times.

The vehicle you will be driving is an extra long wheel based Mercedes Sprinter van. The fleet of vehicles are all brand new and replaced every 3 years.

Drivers will ideally have a clean licence, be aged 25 and over, and be seeking a permanent position for your long term future.

General Warehouse operative duties to include order picking, offloading of deliveries, loading of vans for delivery drivers and any other required duties as instructed.

Hours of work are 08:00 - 17:30 Monday to Friday

Plus every other Saturday 08:00 - 13:00

Interviews are available immediately with the position to start as soon as possible.

£12.71 per hour / £29'740.40 basic salary plus overtime when permanent paid at time and a quarter. OTE £32'000+ with overtime.

Weekly paid during the temporary to permanent period, then monthly paid when permanent
