Job summary

Red Recruitment Group Ltd in Birmingham is urgently seeking an experienced multi-drop van driver for an immediate temp-to-perm role in Tyseley. You will deliver within a small team for a national company, handling manual deliveries in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a clean full driving licence, ideally experience with a long wheel base Mercedes Sprinter, and a minimum age of 25. Hours 08:30-18:00, Mon-Fri, plus every other Sat 08:00-13:00; potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Experience driving long wheel base Mercedes Sprinter preferred.
• Must be 25 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Deliver goods on a multi-drop route.
• Maintain safety and accuracy of deliveries.
• Assist with loading and unloading as needed.

Job description

Red Recruitment group urgently require an experienced professional multi-drop van driver for an immediately available temporary to permanent position in Tyseley, Birmingham.

This particular opportunity is for branch expansion within a small team operation of a National company that is growing at a rapid rate.

Manual handling is involved in all aspects of delivery driving duties.

The vehicle you will be driving is a long wheel based Mercedes Sprinter so candidates ideally would have good previous experience in driving this size of vehicle.

You will be required to be aged 25 as a minimum and hold ideally a full clean drivers licence ( 3 points Maximum) for insurance purposes.

Hours of work are 08:30 - 18:00 Monday to Friday

Plus every other Saturday 08:00 - 13:00

1 hours break per day

£12.71 per hour / £29'741 basic salary. Plus any overtime after basic hours paid at time and a quarter when permanent.

On target earnings will exceed £32'000 per year.

Weekly paid for temp to permanent period then monthly paid thereafter with the company.
