Job summary

Interaction Recruitment are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative in Swindon. The role offers Monday to Friday daytime hours, 08:00–16:00, on a temporary basis with a view to permanent for the right candidate.

The position involves manual handling, heavy lifting, and accurate picking/packing of orders within a busy warehouse. A reliable, hardworking attitude and ability to work as part of a team are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience is preferred.
• Experience in picking, packing and dispatch operations.
• Ability to undertake regular manual handling and heavy lifting safely, with appropriate training and equipment.
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Basic IT skills and confidence using warehouse systems.
• A reliable, hardworking attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Loading and unloading deliveries and containers.
• Regular manual handling and heavy lifting of stock.
• Preparing orders for dispatch.
• Carrying out quality checks to maintain high standards.

Location: Swindon
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00
Contract: Temporary with the opportunity to go permanent
