Warehouse Operative - Stock Controller
Stead House Distribution Centre

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 10pm - 6am.
Total Hours Per Week: 40

Introduction
An exciting opportunity to be part of our successful Superdrug Supply Chain; working within one of our busy Distribution centres as a Warehouse Operative.
This vacancy is for the Savers DC known as Stead House Distribution Centre; based in Darlington. The hours will predominantly be as stated above, but flexibility across all other shift patterns may be required.

Role Purpose: The Stock Control Warehouse Operative is critical in maintaining inventory management by checking, counting, and investigating. Moving stock between warehouses and outside suppliers. This role reports to the Operations Team Leader for Stead House Distribution Centre.

A typical day includes:
- Counting stock
- Slot maintenance
- Producing reports using Excel
- Working closely with internal and external departments
- Stock control functions
- Picking and working pallets of stock for UAE
- Investigating issues and communicating back to other departments
