Job summary

Cambridge Commodities Limited is seeking a Warehouse operative to join the team in a hands-on role covering Goods In Sampling and general warehouse duties. The position includes receiving goods, picking, put away, inventory checks, and maintaining quality documentation.

The role operates Monday to Friday, 06:00–14:30, with an hourly rate of £14.02. A forklift/counterbalance certificate is preferred; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• To be successful in this role, you should hold a current forklift/counterbalance certificate and/or have some previous warehouse experience.
• A VNA licence would be advantageous, however training will be provided.
• Good numerical skills and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Receipt of goods from suppliers and customers.
• Picking of products.
• Put away deliveries and manufactures.
• Inventory checks.
• Keep working areas clean and tidy.
• Safety checks on MHE.
• Sampling and inspection of raw ingredients and finished products.
• Support complaint investigations.
• Filling in and maintaining necessary quality documents.
