Job summary

Position 1 Recruitment is seeking reliable Warehouse Assistants to join a busy warehouse team on the outskirts of Cambridge. This hands-on role in a fast-paced warehouse and yard environment suits someone who enjoys physical work and teamwork. Pay rate is £12.71 per hour with Mon–Fri 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM shifts.

Immediate start, weekly pay, and ongoing temporary work with potential for longer opportunities. Applicants must have right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling.
• Own transport required due to site location.

• Previous warehouse or yard experience preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming goods
• Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders
• Assisting with deliveries of window frames to designated locations
• Ensuring installation teams have the materials and consumables they require
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised warehouse and yard
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
• Own transport is required due to the location

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Contract: Temporary, 2 weeks only

Start Date: Immediate Start

We are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position. Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK. Due to the site's remote location, own transport is essential.
