Job summary

Lidl GB is seeking a Warehouse Operative (Recycling) to help keep our warehouses running smoothly, processing recyclables quickly and efficiently. You'll bring energy to the team and tackle tasks across card, plastic and food waste.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Willingness to work with all stock types (indoors, outdoors, or in chilled areas).
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for tasks.
• Good attention to detail and ability to work quickly.
• Positive, proactive attitude and pride in doing a great job.

Responsibilities

• Check vehicles into the recycling area.
• Process card, plastic, and food waste efficiently.
• Work with contractors and colleagues to keep collections on track.
• Update Warehouse Management System (WMS) with pallet counts and report issues.
• Use machinery safely to move pallets and complete tasks.
• Support driver debriefs and check outbound lanes to ensure pallets are in the right place.
• Help warehouse operations and keep standards high with a clean-as-you-go approach.

£13.80 - £19.45 per hour* | 10 hour contract | AM & PM Shifts | 30-35 days holiday (pro rata)
