Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative to join a busy logistics operation. This fast-moving role covers goods in, picking, put-away and dispatch. You will unload deliveries, scan shipments, put away stock, prepare shipments and operate Counterbalance forklifts and PPTs.

SAP experience is advantageous; a forklift licence is required. The position offers £27,000 per annum plus a £200 monthly attendance bonus after probation, with Monday–Friday

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fast-moving warehouse or logistics environment.
• Experience picking, putting away and preparing shipments.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office; SAP experience is advantageous.
• A valid external Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
• A valid external PPT (Electric Pallet Truck) Licence.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• A positive attitude and ability to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound deliveries, including pallets and IBCs.
• Scan incoming shipments into the warehouse management system.
• Put away stock into correct locations and pick orders to specification.
• Band, strap and wrap shipments following ADR regulations.
• Prepare shipments and attach documentation.
• Operate Counterbalance Forklifts and PPT.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.

We are recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join a busy and expanding logistics operation.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment who enjoys a varied role involving goods in, picking, put-away and dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

• Unload inbound deliveries, including pallets and IBCs.
• Scan incoming shipments into the warehouse management system.
• Put away stock into the correct warehouse locations.
• Break down mixed pallet deliveries and distribute products to the correct storage areas.
• Pick customer orders accurately to specification.
• Band, strap and wrap shipments in line with ADR regulations and company procedures.
• Prepare shipments and attach the correct documentation.
• Print labels and confirm stock receipts using warehouse computer systems.
• Operate Counterbalance Forklifts and Electric Pallet Trucks (PPT).
• Work closely with the logistics and warehouse teams to ensure freight is ready for dispatch.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience within a fast-moving warehouse or logistics environment.
• Experience picking, putting away and preparing shipments.
