Job summary

A.F. Blakemore & Son Ltd is hiring Warehouse Operatives at Bedford Depot for a PM shift (2pm - 10pm). The role involves assembling customer orders, loading goods, and following stock rotation in a temperature-controlled environment.

Applicants should be numerate and literate with warehousing experience and be able to work in a cold and freezer environment. FLT licence holders receive premium pay on top of base rates.

Warehouse Operative (PM) - Bedford Depot

PM Shift- 2pm - 10pm
40 hours per week on a 5 out of 7 day rota (including weekends)

Temperature-controlled (4°C) environment

90% performance £13.14 per hour

100% performance £14.60 per hour

110% performance £16.06 per hour

120% performance £17.52 per hour

We are currently seeking motivated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Warehouse Operatives at our Bedford Depot. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring the accurate and efficient assembly of customer orders.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately assemble customer orders
• Pick and load goods onto cages safely
• Input weighted items correctly
• Follow stock rotation procedures
• Perform various warehouse duties with precision and efficiency
• Properly mark and store assembled orders for dispatch
