Warehouse Operative
£14.58 Per hour (£32,216 per year) plus great benefits
Depot Shift Pattern: PM / Afternoon, working 5 shifts per week from 15:00-00:00
42.5 hours per week
You don’t need previous warehouse experience to join us - just enthusiasm to learn and a desire to do a great job! If you’re friendly, eager to learn, and excited about the opportunity to progress, we’ll provide all the necessary training and development opportunities.
As a Warehouse Operative at our Fresh Direct Corby depot, you’ll pick, pack, and check the quality of ambient, chilled, and frozen food items, preparing them for delivery. The role begins with a full induction, and with our support and optional accredited training—including forklift, first aid, and HGV driving—there’s no limit to your potential. Once onboard, there are many opportunities to shift, change roles, and advance your career.
Key requirements include an eye for detail, comfort working in a cool environment (we’ll provide a thermal uniform), the ability to lift weights of up to 25kg, and ideally, your own transport to get to the depot.
