Job summary

Staffline is hiring Warehouse Operatives to join a busy distribution centre in Barnsley, supporting one of the UK's most well-known high street food retailers. The role is full-time, working 2pm to 12am, 5 days out of 7, with on-site support and canteen facilities.

Applicants must have transport due to shift times and the site offers full training and PPE. Expect to handle picking in a chilled environment, pallet breakdown, and allocation for storage and dispatch while maintaining good

Qualifications

• Excellent timekeeping and attendance.
• Good Maths and English skills.
• Experience in a similar role is desirable, but full training provided.

Staffline is hiring Warehouse Operatives to join a busy distribution centre in Barnsley, supporting one of the UK's most well-known high street food retailers.

This is a full-time role, working 5 out of 7 days, 2pm to 12am (midnight)

Due to the shift end times, you will need your own transport for this role.

Warehouse Operatives earn:

The rate of pay is:

• Monday to Friday AM £13.38 per hour
• Saturday + Sunday AM £13.83 per hour
• Monday to Friday after 6pm £16.72 per hour
• Saturday + Sunday after 6pm £18.06 per hour

Overtime rates are paid after 40 hours.

Attendance Bonus during the peak period £2.50 per hour if you attend all shifts booked.

Performance Bonus during the peak period £2.50 per hour if pick performance rate is min 130 cases

Potential extra Attendance £125 bonus paid in January!

Potential extra performance £100 bonus paid in January!

Your Time at Work

As a Warehouse Operative, your time at work will include

• Picking food products in a chilled environment using pick headsets
• Breaking down pallets of food ready for processing
• Allocating products for storage and dispatch

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker will have excellent timekeeping and attendance. You will have the ability to work under pressure and achieve performance targets.

Applicants will have good Maths and English skills.

Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential, as full training is provided.
