Job description

We are looking to recruit warehouse operatives who will be responsible for picking orders for our shops at our distribution centre in Avonmouth, Bristol.

We offer a permanent full-time position working lates from 14:00 to 22:00 or nights from 22:00 to 6:00, 5 days a week (including at least one weekend day) in our Frozen Warehouse.

Please note, positions in the frozen environment will involve working in temperatures between -18 and -25 degrees Celsius, with full PPE and additional regular warming breaks provided.

Pay, working hours & benefits:

We offer an hourly pay rate of £16.91. This is a full-time position with the opportunity for overtime.

As a warehouse operative, your responsibilities will include:

• Accurately and efficiently picking stock onto pallets for delivery
• Keeping accurate records
• Performing general maintenance and cleaning of the warehouse
• Adhering to health and safety requirements

Most warehouse operatives start with order picking, with potential opportunities to work in goods-in and loading operations.

You will need:

• To be physically fit, as this role is demanding and involves achieving productivity targets
• A friendly, positive, and hardworking attitude
• Experience in a warehouse environment or with manual handling equipment is advantageous but not essential—please mention any relevant experience in your application
