Job summary

Driverz Work in Greater London is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our warehouse operations team. You will unload/load goods, pick wholesale orders, and assist with loading delivery vans while maintaining a clean and safe workspace.

The role requires attention to detail, good English communication, and flexibility to adapt to changing shifts. You will work in a coldstore environment at -18 with provided protective clothing.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our warehouse operations team. As a vital member of the team, you will be responsible for a range of duties, including unloading/loading, picking wholesale orders, loading delivery vans, and performing warehouse maintenance tasks.

Working Week:

• Mon – Fri 4am – 1.00pm

Vacancy Short Description:

• Working within the warehouse team, picking orders, checking stock and cleanliness of workplace
• job will require working in coldstore of -18, protective clothing will be provided.
• Innovative and dependable operative, picking orders and building stable pallets, well organised with processing order that pallets need to be picked in.
• Report stock differences on the picking list, general warehouse duties including cleanliness and work in a proactive way.
• Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
• Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
• Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs
• Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
• Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities

Candidate Specification

• Always Adhering to health and safety.
• Check the quantity and quality of the incoming and outgoing goods.
• Equipment maintenance, inventory control.

• Experience in meat handling

Additional Details:

• De-briefing Warehouse Manager daily / weekly on the activities.
• Must be open to taking on various other tasks & responsibilities whether routine or otherwise given by the Warehouse Manager.
• The right candidate must be flexible & adopt an open mind to multi-tasking on the job.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £13.00 per hour
