Gap Personnel Limited in Swindon is seeking Warehouse Operatives to repair pallets on a temporary basis with potential for permanent opportunities. You will operate hand tools and work in a noisy warehouse environment, with full training provided for those without prior pallet repair experience.

Shifts rotate between 6am–2pm and 2pm–10pm; reliability and attendance are important, and overtime is paid after 40 hours. A can-do attitude is valued in a busy team setting.

Qualifications

• Experience with pallet repair is helpful but full training is provided.
• Work environment may be noisy; hearing protection may be required.
• Shifts are rotating and require availability for both early and late slots.

Job Title: Warehouse Operative

Location: Swindon, SN5

Pay Rate: 13.25 p/h + weekly bonus up to £190 per week

Contract: Temporary ongoing with permanent opportunities available

gap personnel Gloucester are recruiting for 12 Warehouse Operatives for their pallets repairing operations. We are looking for candidates who are comfortable using tools such as hammers or nail guns; however, please be assured that full training will be provided to those who may not have prior experience. It is important for candidates to be aware that the work environment may be noisy.

Main Duties :

• Repairing broken and damaged pallets
• Use of hand tools
• Manual handling and lifting techniques to move pallets around
• Quality checking on all repaired pallets
• Adding nails, replacing
• Sanding
• Operating a narrow aisle

Working Hours

• Monday – Friday, 6am – 2pm and 2pm – 10pm – please be aware the shifts are rotational and all must work both shifts - rotating weekly

Hourly Pay Rates

• Basic Rate - £13.25 p/h
• OT paid after completion of 40 hours at £14.25
• Bonus scheme available on achieving teams targets – bonus is paid as lump sum on each week, this can vary depending on volume and workload and may vary between £5 per week up to £190 per week as extra pay.

Successful candidates will have a can do attitude, be reliable and come with great attendance record from previous employers.
