Job summary

Interaction Recruitment PLC in Glasgow is seeking an Order Picker to join a busy warehouse team. You will pick and pack orders using scanners, load and unload pallets, and ensure goods are stored and moved safely.

Training will be provided on systems and procedures, with a view to a temporary role that could become permanent based on performance. The shift pattern runs Monday to Thursday mornings and Friday mornings, with overtime as required.

Qualifications

• Full training provided on warehouse systems and procedures.
• Temporary position with potential to become permanent based on performance.
• Capable of lifting boxes up to 25 kg and working to health and safety guidelines.
• Good customer service attitude and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack orders using scanners.
• Put away goods on arrival and arrange warehouse items efficiently.
• Load and unload pallets from trucks using forklift or pallet truck when required.
• Maintain safe working practices in line with health and safety policy.

Job Title: Order Picker

Salary- £13.00 per hour, paid weekly

Working Hours– Monday – Thursday 7:00am – 3:45pm, Friday – 6:45am – 2:15pm

Contract– Temporary position, potentially leading to a permanent contract, depending on performances.

Location– Glasgow, G51 4

Our client is looking for a new team member to expand their existing team, in line with growth plans for the business. The successful candidates will be given full training on the systems and the tasks that form the role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick and packing orders with scanners.
• Putting away goods when they arrive
• Put back the items around the warehouse efficiently.
• Constantly Lifting boxes (0.5Kg in average, max 25Kg)
• Work to systems and procedures.
• Work in a safe manner, always adhering to the Company Health and Safety Policy and Safe Working Practices.
• Undertake all tasks with a 'customer service’, 'can do’ attitude and contribute to improving the performance of the business and the profit share pot.
• Received daily order by truck with or without forklift.
• Loading and unloading pallets from truck with forklift or pallet truck
