DHL is seeking a Warehouse Operative (Order Distributor) at HM Prison Gartree for a permanent part-time role. The position involves distributing orders on the prison wing and loading/unloading vehicles, with a Thursday shift from 11:00 to 17:30 (6.5 hours per week).

The role requires the ability to work in a prison environment, comply with security clearance requirements, and transport access due to site remoteness.

Position Details

Position: Warehouse Operative (Order Distributor)

Location: HM Prison Gartree

Contract Type: Permanent (Part-Time)

Shift pattern: 6.5 hours per week on Thursday 11:00 to 17:30

Salary: £5,057.67 per year

PLEASE NOTE: The role is based within a Prison. You will be required to under-go an Enhanced Security Vetting Process if you are to be successful for this position- Please also note you must have Current 3 years of UK address history (mandatory for Enhanced Security Clearance) Please note you must have access to your own transport due to the remoteness of this site

Key Responsibilities

• Working on the prison wing, distributing orders timely and accurately to each in-mate
• Loading and unloading vehicles when orders arrive at the prison
• Compliance to prison rules and regulations

Requirements

• The ability to work in a prison environment, alongside in-mates
• The ability to work in a role that requires manual handling and heavy lifting
• Good communication at all levels
• Current 3 years of UK address history (mandatory for Enhanced Security Clearance)
