Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is recruiting for a Warehouse Team Leader at HM Prison Berwyn, LL13 9QE. This permanent full-time role combines frontline supervision with hands-on picking and packing in a highly secure prison warehouse.

You will guide a team of inmates, monitor stock, and drive on-time dispatch while meeting operational targets. A valid UK driving licence and security clearance are mandatory.

Position: Warehouse Operative (Warehouse Team Leader)

Location: HM Prison Berwyn, LL13 9QE

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift: Mon to Fri Working Hours

Salary: £27,496.46

PLEASE NOTE: You will be required to under-go an Enhanced Security Vetting Process if you are to be successful for this position.

• You will require a valid UK Licence and access to your own vehicle for this role*

HMPPS provides prisoners with the means to order goods using their own funds. At DHL, our role is to manage the picking, packing and distribution of these orders. No two days on our HMPPS contract are the same! You will play an integral role in the prisoner's lives, working with a diverse team to support their rehabilitation.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

• Leading a group of prisoners in a warehouse environment, whilst also being hands on with picking and packing
• Reconcile stock levels within the warehouse operation (based onsite at the prison)
• Managing the delivery of accurate and timely dispatch of orders to the in-mates
• Ensuring operational targets are met and exceeded
