Job summary

Warehouse Operative / Operations Processor

GR Employment Ltd is looking for part-time Operations Processors/Warehouse Operatives on behalf of one of our customers, a worldwide market leader in parcel logistics. The position is based in the Crawley, Copthorne area.

The Operations Processor is a hands-on role, working within the warehouse section of the Service Centre. Working directly with secure, customs-cleared shipments, you will be responsible for ensuring that all incoming and outgoing parcels are processed quickly and efficiently, and that materials and shipments are loaded into vehicles in a precise, safe and time-efficient manner.

Shift Pattern

Monday - Friday: 16:00 to 20:00

Pay

• Hourly rate: £13.02 per hour
• Shift premium: extra £2.80 per hour after 7pm
• Saturday premium: extra £1.22 per hour
• Sunday premium: extra £2.27 per hour

The Role

• Process all incoming and outgoing shipments
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Scan/process shipments
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail
• Manual and some heavy lifting is involved
• Ensure the warehouse is left in a clean and tidy condition after the end of the shift

What You'll Need

No experience needed - security training will be given when required. As this role is based within a major UK airport, all applicants will be required to complete pre-employment screening in accordance with aviation security regulations, including a 5-year history check and a UK criminal record check.
