Job summary

Micheldever Tyre Services (MTS), part of Micheldever Group, seeks a Warehouse Operative in our Nottingham distribution hub. You will pick orders, load and unload vehicles, and put stock away, with manual handling and occasional forklift driving duties.

Working Monday to Friday, 4am to 13:30pm, you will help ensure goods are received and dispatched correctly, maintain stock accuracy, and move items safely within the warehouse to meet customer orders and DC requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Forklift licence (Counterbalance/Reach) is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong focus on health & safety and team working.

Responsibilities

• Check goods received and dispatched for faults.
• Maintain high counts at stock audits and report discrepancies.
• Move goods efficiently within the warehouse according to instructions.
• Load outbound vehicles safely and in line with company policy.
• Put-away stock in correct locations and process orders to DC requirements.

About the role

Ensure all goods received and sent out are checked for faults and reported asrequired

Ensurehigh levelsof count accuracy at Stock Audits, effectively communicating stock discrepancies,shortagesor problem areas

Ensure any movement of goods within the Warehouse environment is efficient andaccurateaccording to instruction

Ensure out-bound vehicles are loaded in a proper, safe manner, according to instruction, CompanyPracticeand current legislation

Ensure all received stock is 'put-away' in the correct locations within the Warehouse and all goods due for dispatch are processed,pickedand loaded correct to customer order and DC requirements.

You willhave anunderstandingofworkplace Health & Safetyandwork independently and as part of a team

Experience in a similar fast-paced, physically demanding environment,Fork liftlicence, Counterbalance or Reach Truck, ideal but not essential
