Berry Recruitment Group in Darlington is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join a busy, fast-paced team. You will load/unload vehicles and move stock safely while supporting daily warehouse operations.

Shifts run 2:00am–9:00am, Monday to Saturday with ad hoc hours. Pay rates are £13.31/hour from 2:00–5:00 and £12.71/hour from 5:00–9:00, with weekly pay every Friday.

Applicants should be reliable, physically fit and bring a good work ethic; safety boots are required.

Job Description

Warehouse Operative - Loading & Unloading

We are currently recruiting Warehouse Operatives to join a busy and fast-paced warehouse team in the Darlington area.

This role involves loading and unloading vehicles, moving stock safely throughout the warehouse, and supporting daily warehouse operations. This is a physically demanding role and would suit individuals who are reliable, hardworking, and able to work in a fast-moving environment.

Duties Include:

• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
• Sorting and moving parcels and stock within the warehouse
• Ensuring items are handled safely and efficiently
• Following all health and safety procedures
• Keeping work areas clean and tidy
• Supporting the wider warehouse team as required

Shift Details:

• 2:00am - 9:00am
• Monday to Saturday
• Ad hoc / as-and-when required shifts
• Flexibility is essential

Pay Rates:

• £13.31 per hour between 2:00am - 5:00am
• £12.71 per hour between 5:00am - 9:00am
• Weekly pay every Friday

Requirements:

• Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
• Good level of fitness and reliability
• Safety/work boots are required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
