Job summary

DPD Group in Hinckley is seeking enthusiastic Weekly Depot Operative Nights to join our fast-paced warehouse team. You will be the backbone of our operation, loading, unloading, sorting parcels, and using scanning tech to keep deliveries on schedule.

This part-time night role runs Tue-Sat, 03:00-07:00. We offer full training from Day 1, uniform and PPE, and a benefits package including pay nights at £14.93 per hour, career progression, and wellbeing support.

Job Description

• Days of Work: Tue - Sat,03:00-07:00

This is a fast-paced, physical role and you will be on your feet all shift. As a warehouse operative, you will be the backbone of our operation, playing a critical role in DPD continuing to deliver outstanding service.

Key Duties Include:

• Loading and unloading, scanning, and sorting parcels with precision and accuracy
• Handling items up to 25kg (who needs a gym membership when you can keep fit whilst you work!)
• Using our technology systems to ensure every parcel gets to the right place at the right time
• Operating warehouse equipment including scanners, conveyor systems, and handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping throughout the warehouse environment
• Conducting quality control checks to verify parcel condition and accurate labelling andreporting any discrepancies, damaged items, or system issues to your supervisor promptly
• Working collaboratively with team members to meet daily targets and shift objectives
• Adhering to attendance expectations and maintaining reliability throughout your shift
