Job summary

DPD Group in Doncaster is seeking Night Depot Operatives for a fixed-term contract through to January 15, 2027. The role is nights, 5 days per week, starting at 00:00, with an 18/30 hour weekly pattern.

In a fast-paced warehouse, you will load and unload, scan and sort parcels, handle items up to 25 kg, operate scanners and conveyors, and keep health and safety standards high.

Job Description

• Contract Type:Fixed Term Contract until January 15th 2027 – 18 / 30 Hours Per Week


• Days of Work:5 days per week starting at 00:00

This is a fast-paced, physical role and you will be on your feet all shift. As a warehouse operative, you will be the backbone of our operation, playing a critical role in DPD continuing to deliver outstanding service.

Key Duties Include:

• Loading and unloading, scanning, and sorting parcels with precision and accuracy


• Handling items up to 25kg (who needs a gym membership when you can keep fit whilst you work!)


• Using our technology systems to ensure every parcel gets to the right place at the right time


• Operating warehouse equipment including scanners, conveyor systems, and handling equipment safely and efficiently


• Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping throughout the warehouse environment


• Conducting quality control checks to verify parcel condition and accurate labelling andreporting any discrepancies, damaged items, or system issues to your supervisor promptly


• Working collaboratively with team members to meet daily targets and shift objectives


• Adhering to attendance expectations and maintaining reliability throughout your shift
