Warehouse Operative Role

As a Warehouse Operative, you'll report directly to the Warehouse Team Manager. This role offers variety to ensure we achieve and excel customer expectations. You'll deliver KPIs both productively and accurately to ensure a seamless journey for our customers while maintaining a high level of Health & Safety within the Warehouse Operation.

Location and Team

Wincanton is recruiting Warehouse Operatives to join our night team in Cullompton, Devon, supporting the day-to-day warehouse activity.

Compensation and Schedule

• £13.65 per hour
• £28,392.00 per annum
• Night shifts
• Monday to Friday, 22:00 to 06:00
• 40 hours per week with paid breaks
• Overtime paid at time & half after 40 hours
• 28 days annual leave including Bank Holidays

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse duties including accurately picking stock using handheld devices.
• Load items onto pallets.
• Check picked stock and assembled loads prior to dispatch.
• Handle stock with care to ensure it arrives at customers in perfect condition.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the warehouse areas.
• Work safely in a team environment, adhering to health & safety regulations and safe systems of work.
• Support operational efficiency and uphold hygiene standards of the warehouse and site.
