Job summary

Brakes, part of Sysco, is hiring a Warehouse Operative for its Portbury site. You’ll work in a multi‑temperature warehouse, handling picking, packing, stock replenishment and loading onto lorries while following health and food safety procedures.

The role suits detail‑oriented team players who can lift up to 25kg and perform basic calculations. Night shifts Sun–Thu 19:00–03:30 with 1 in 5 Fridays, and you’ll need your own transport to reach site.

Qualifications

• A good eye for detail and accuracy.
• Like being part of a team.
• Basic language skills and the ability to perform simple calculations.
• Comfortable working in a cold environment.
• The ability to lift up to 25kg.

Salary £33,687 plus Nights shift Premium with OTE of £41,000

Working Sunday to Thursday nights from 19:00 until 03:30 with 1 in 5 Fridays (with a Rest Day planned)

Note: Due to its location you will need your own transport to get to site as public transport does not service the site well.
