IRD Recruitment is seeking reliable warehouse operatives for a client in Nether Heyford, Northampton. The role involves loading delivery vans with heavy and bulky goods as part of a warehouse team, with regular heavy lifting and manual handling.

The position requires teamwork, reliability, and a strong health and safety mindset. Immediate start on a long-term, night shift schedule (Sunday to Thursday, 21:00–06:00) is offered, with weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Loading delivery vans with heavy and bulky goods as part of a team.
• Regular heavy lifting, carrying and moving of products.
• Working alongside colleagues to ensure vans are loaded safely and efficiently.
• Organising and positioning goods securely inside delivery vehicles.
• Handling large and heavy items using safe manual-handling techniques and appropriate equipment.
• Ensuring all vehicles are loaded correctly and ready for dispatch.
• Maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment.
• Following all site health and safety procedures.

This is a physically demanding, heavy-lifting role, primarily involving loading delivery vans with heavy and bulky goods as part of a warehouse team.

THIS IS A HEAVY-LIFTING ROLE, NOT A LIGHT WAREHOUSE PICKING OR PACKING POSITION.

The majority of your shift will involve physically loading delivery vans with heavy goods alongside other team members.

Candidates must be prepared for repetitive lifting, carrying and moving bulky products throughout the night.
