Job summary

Hyve Solutions, a US-based manufacturer with a presence in the UK, is seeking a Material Handler to support shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations at our facilities. You will ensure accurate records, prepare shipments, and help maintain inventory accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and readiness to operate a forklift when needed as part of daily logistics tasks in Telford, England.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping, receiving and inventory records.
• Ability to operate forklift and lift heavy items.
• Experience with packaging and preparing products for shipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform shipping, receiving, storing and order fulfillment tasks.
• Check goods against purchase orders and invoices.

Material Handler: Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and order fulfillment of merchandise, products, materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Checks goods received and for distribution against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. Packages and prepares products and merchandise for final shipment and posts weights and shipping charges. Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped. Reviews customer orders, examines, stocks and distributes merchandise, products and materials in inventory warehouses, distribution centers or manufacturing lines.
