Job summary

Hyve Solutions is seeking a facilities technician to perform plumbing, mechanical and statutory duties within the site. You will install and layout changes, support maintenance mechanics, carry out light construction and area cleaning, and assist with coordinating outside contractors.

You will help maintain safe, compliant operations and support vendors, set up AV for meetings, and contribute to documentation of power and network diagrams as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance or handyman tasks is desirable.
• Ability to work with hand and power tools and follow safety procedures.
• Strong team collaboration and communication skills.

Assists with maintaining daily operations of the physical facility. Supports maintenance mechanics and facilities staff by performing “handyman” maintenance duties such as furniture moves, simple electrical projects, spot painting and/or cleaning, light construction and/or exterior cleanup. Works with outside contractors on building and equipment repairs. Operates site equipment as needed, using hand and power tools as necessary. May perform other activities such as audio-visual (AV) set up for meetings or conferences, inter-office mail deliveries, waste paper recycling, and stocking of employee break areas. May maintain documentation such as power diagrams, network diagram, space usage, etc. and also assist with the editing of media materials, such as tapes. May provide support to vendors/contractors such as security force, cafeteria, media relations. May assist in hosting corporate visitors/dignitaries.

Scope: Provides technical and physical support to the Company building related infrastructure, ensuring a safe and complaint working environment for all staff.
Ensuring the Company can meet the requirements of its customers without delay or disruption.
