Handicare Stairlifts UK in Glasgow is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join a busy team. The role involves receiving goods, stock handling, packing, and preparing items for dispatch, with a focus on accuracy and safety.

The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, good literacy and numeracy, basic IT skills, and can work both independently and as part of a team. Forklift training may be provided if needed.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, checking and booking in deliveries.
• Picking, packing and preparing goods for dispatch.
• Assisting with the refurbishment and preparation of equipment for reinstallation.
• Maintaining accurate stock records using internal IT systems.
• Supporting stock control activities and carrying out stock checks.
• Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Keeping warehouse and storage areas clean, organised and safe.
• Following all health and safety procedures and company policies.
• Working closely with colleagues to ensure daily warehouse targets are achieved.
• Undertaking any other reasonable duties appropriate to the role.
