Job summary

Pall-Ex Dorset is hiring a Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver to join our Christchurch team. You will be responsible for safe loading/unloading of goods during a busy shift, with duties including unloading lorries, stacking pallets, picking orders and loading lorries.

The role runs Monday to Friday 8am–5pm. Requirements include a valid FLT counter-balance license; Aisle Master licence is preferred and training may be provided.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid forklift counter-balance license (essential)
• Aisle Master licence preferable; willing to train if not held
• Experience using scanning equipment is beneficial
• Strong attention to health and safety; good communication and teamwork

Responsibilities

• Load and unload goods safely during a busy shift.
• Stack pallets in the racking and pick orders.
• Load lorries and perform daily equipment checks.
• Ensure loads are secure and pallets are handled safely

Pall-Ex Dorset have an opportunity for a Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver to join our Team in Christchurch.

The duties will include safe loading and unloading of goods during a busy shift, 8am - 5pm Unloading Lorries, stacking pallets in the racking, picking orders & loading lorries.

This will include stacking goods, checking loads are secure, stacking empty pallets, accurate picking and performing daily equipment check

Working Hours: Monday-Friday 8am - 5pm.

Qualifications and Experience needed

• Hold a valid FLT counter-balance license (essential)
• Aisle Master licence preferable, not essential to hold, must be willing to train to use one.
• Experience in using scanning equipment would be beneficial
• Attention to detail especially with regard to Health and Safety practices
• Good communication skills
• Team player
