KPI RECRUITING LTD is recruiting for a Warehouse Operative / FLT Counterbalance Driver in Stoke-on-Trent. The role involves operating a Counterbalance forklift, picking orders, loading and unloading goods, and general warehouse duties within a small warehouse and yard operation.

Working 25 hours per week, you will contribute to accurate order preparation and safe movement of products, maintaining a clean and compliant site. Prior forklift experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck.
• Experience in warehouse, yard or order-picking roles is desirable.
• Comfortable undertaking manual handling as part of the role.

Warehouse Operative / FLT Counterbalance Driver

Location: Stoke on Trent, ST6

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 1:00pm

Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum, pro rata

Hours: 25 hours per week

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operative / FLT Counterbalance Driver to join a small warehouse and yard operation based in the Stoke on Trent

This is a varied, hands‑on position combining forklift driving, order picking and general warehouse duties. You will play a key role in ensuring orders are picked accurately and products are moved, loaded and unloaded safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck to move products around the warehouse and yard
• Loading and unloading lorries safely and efficiently
• Moving and positioning pallets within the warehouse and yard
• Picking customer orders accurately based on instructions provided by the sales office
• Ensuring the correct products and quantities are selected
• Preparing orders ready for collection or dispatch
• Carrying out manual handling duties safely
• Checking products for damage and reporting any issues
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse and yard environment
• Following all company health & safety procedures
• Supporting with general warehouse duties as required

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck
• Previous warehouse, yard or order‑picking experience
• Comfortable undertaking manual handling as part of the role
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to follow picking and order instructions
• A reliable, hardworking and proactive approach
• Good understanding of warehouse health & safety procedures
