Job summary

Staffline is seeking a Warehouse Operative for a major high-street retailer in the fashion and food sector, based in Chapeltown, Sheffield. The role is full-time with a 6-week rota, 5 days out of 7, with day or night shifts (6am–2pm or 2pm–10pm).

Pay varies by shift: Days, Afters and Nights with overtime after 8 weeks. Overtime rates apply and the advertised weekly earnings are around £530. Staffline provides full training, PPE and on-site support.

Qualifications

• Warehouse Operative experience mandatory.
• Basic English understanding required.

Responsibilities

• Operate across intake, pick, sortation, pack, despatch in a large warehouse.
• Use a terminal and other warehouse equipment.
• Maintain high standards of manual handling and safety while standing/walking for long periods.

Warehouse Operative - Earn £530 Weekly!

Warehouse Operative for our client a major high-street retailer in the fashion and food sector.

Warehouse Operatives in

Chapeltown, Sheffield.

The rate of pay is:

Days 12.71 per hour(pre 8 weeks)/13.03 per hour (post 8 weeks)

Afters 13.40 per hour (pre 8 weeks)/13.74 per hour (post 8 weeks)

Nights 14.26 per hour (pre 8 weeks)/14.62 per hour (post 8 weeks)

Overtime is available and is paid at:

• First 8 weeks £19.06 per hour
• 8 weeks + £19.55 per hour

This is a full-time role, x6 weeks rota pattern which includes weekends. You will work 5 days out of 7. The hours of work are:

• Rotational 6am to 2pm/2pm to 10pm

Warehouse Operative experience is mandatory.

Your Time at Work

As a Warehouse Operative you will be trained in multiple areas in the warehouse which covers the full stockhandler role from the start to end processes of the logistics chain.

These areas include intake, pick, sortation, pack, put-away, and despatch of the products. You will be required to use a terminal and other warehouse equipment. All roles require a high level of manual handling and standing/walking for long periods of time.

Warehouse Operatives must be physically fit due to manual handling and walking to different areas of the large warehouse.
