Job summary

Staffline is recruiting for Warehouse Operatives at a busy distribution centre in Chapeltown, Sheffield. This full-time role requires working any 5 days out of 7 with shifts across AM, PM and Nights, and hourly pay from £12.71 to £14.26.

As a Warehouse Operative you will be trained across intake, pick, sortation, pack, put-away and despatch, using a terminal and warehouse equipment. A high level of manual handling and standing is required.

Qualifications

• Hard-working and reliable with basic English understanding.
• Physically able to perform manual handling and long periods of standing.
• Experience is nice-to-have but full training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate in intake, pick, sortation, pack, put-away and despatch processes.
• Use a terminal and warehouse equipment as part of daily tasks.
• Maintain safety and accuracy while moving through the warehouse.

Job description

Warehouse Operative at our client's busy distribution centre for clothing and toys.

Staffline is recruiting for Warehouse Operatives in

Chapeltown, Sheffield.

This is a full-time role working any 5 days out of 7.

The rate of pay is:

• AM Shift, £12.71 per hour
• PM Shift, £13.40 per hour
• Nights, £14.26 per hour

The hours of work are:

• 6am to 2pm
• 2pm to 10pm
• 10pm to 6am

Your Time at Work

As a Warehouse Operative you will be trained in multiple areas in the warehouse which covers the full stockhandler role from the start to end processes of the logistics chain.

These areas include intake, pick, sortation, pack, put-away, and despatch of the products. You will be required to use a terminal and other warehouse equipment. All roles require a high level of manual handling and standing/walking for long periods of time

Our Perfect Worker

Our ideal Warehouse Operative is hard-working, reliable, and has a basic understanding of English. They are comfortable working individually and as part of a wider team.

Warehouse Operatives must be physically fit due to manual handling and walking to different areas of the large warehouse.

Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential as full training is provided.
