Job summary

Gap Personnel, in partnership with GS Yuasa in Swindon, is seeking multiple Warehouse Operatives to support busy manufacturing on early shifts. Receive, unload and pick using RFU scanners and pick sheets, with opportunities for permanent roles for high performers.

Ideal candidates have warehouse experience, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work safely to deadlines. On-site induction and on-site interviews will be held.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience is a MUST.
• Good knowledge of warehouse processes and procedures.
• Be physically fit.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload and pick products using pick sheets and an RFU scanner.
• Operate low level order picker & RF scanner for despatch readiness.
• Work accurately and safely following Health and Safety rules.
• Meet tight deadlines.
• Spot quality issues and report to Team Lead/Supervisor.
• Manual handling.
• Stock replenishment and put away.

Job Title: Warehouse Operative - Earlies

Location: Swindon, SN3

Pay Rate: £13.10 p/h (Increase after 12 weeks)

Shifts: Monday - Friday 06.00 - 14.00

Contract: Temporary ongoing

Gap personnel are proud to be working in Partnership with GS YUASA a large global manufacturer of Lead-Acid and Lithium-ion batteries based in Swindon, who are currently looking for multiple Warehouse Operatives to support busy Manufacturing, on Early shifts.

Job Duties:

• Receive, unload and pick products to a high standard using both pick sheets and an RFU scanner.
• Operating low level order picker & RF scanner you will be picking products ready for despatch
• Ability to work accurately and safely, maintaining to Health and Safety procedures and regulations
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Ability to spot quality issues and able to confidently report issues to a Team Lead/Supervisor
• Manual handling
• Stock replenishment
• Stock put away

• Previous warehouse experience is a MUST

Due to nature of the business, Health and Safety induction and walkaround will be held on site. Prior maths test to be completed by the candidate, and sent back to agency representative for positive verification. All interviews will be held on site too.
