Job summary

Gap Personnel is partnering with GS Yuasa in Swindon to recruit Warehouse Operatives for a busy distribution operation. The role covers an early fixed shift, with pay £13.10 per hour rising to £13.45 after 12 weeks, on a temporary ongoing contract.

Receive, unload and pick products with RFU scanning, use LLOP equipment, and maintain high standards of accuracy and safety while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment.
• Good knowledge of warehouse processes and procedures.
• Experience in the use of scanning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload and pick products to a high standard using pick sheets and an RFU scanner.
• Use of a LLOP (training provided).
• Ability to work accurately and safely.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Spot quality issues and report to Team Lead/Supervisor.
• Manual handling (some batteries may be heavy).
• Stock replenishment.
• Stock put away.
