Job summary

KPI Recruiting Ltd in Horwich, Greater Manchester, is seeking a Warehouse Operative for our client. You will work to pick, pack and dispatch orders, maintain stock levels and liaise with couriers to ensure timely collections.

The role requires previous warehouse experience, ability to work well alone or in a team, and careful handling of goods. Hours alternate weekly: Week 1 Mon-Thu 07:00-17:00; Week 2 Mon-Fri 07:00-15:30 and 7am-17:00 Thu, totaling about 38 hours.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience.
• Ability to work well individually or in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Become familiar with all the products supplied by Indespension Ltd.
• Process and pick/pack orders accurately to ensure dispatch and invoicing within the delivery framework.
• Answer phone calls, emails, etc., professionally to enable orders and handle customer queries.
• Package goods correctly to prevent damage.
• Maintain a dispatch record system.
• Control stock by monitoring stock levels/components.
• Maintain stock inventory on the computer.
• Ensure stock levels are suitable and report shortages to Manager.
• Print and allocate Next Day delivery orders to the pick team to meet deadlines.
• Be present for stocktaking as required.
• Perform other duties as requested.
