Job summary

The Best Connection Group is recruiting a Warehouse Operative in Coventry for a temporary-to-permanent role. This position covers stock control, inventory management, material handling and general warehouse duties.

You will work Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00, with opportunities to develop skills and progress within the business. The role requires accuracy, reliability and a team-based approach.

Previous stock control or warehouse experience and MHE licences are desirable.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in stock control, inventory management or warehouse operations.
• Experience using MHE, with relevant licences where required.
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A reliable, punctual and flexible approach to work.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out stock control and inventory checks to ensure stock levels are accurate.
• Receiving, checking and storing incoming deliveries.
• Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch.
• Moving materials and stock safely around the warehouse.
• Loading and unloading deliveries as required.
• Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and organised.
• Reporting stock discrepancies, damaged goods and any issues to management.
• Following all health and safety procedures.
• Supporting the wider warehouse team with general duties as required.

The Role
