Job summary

PS Ltd are recruiting an experienced Warehouse Operative with a valid Counterbalance Forklift licence to work at a busy logistics site in Derby. The role focuses on stock movement with a mix of manual handling and MHE use.

Shifts are rotating (06:00-14:30 and 13:30-22:00), Monday to Friday, with possible Saturday overtime after training. LLOP training may be provided; candidates should provide MHE certificates before interview.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift licence is essential.
• Previous warehouse experience.
• Previous MHE experience preferred.

This is a varied warehouse role mainly focused on stock movement, with a mixture of manual handling and MHE use.

Duties

• Moving stock around the warehouse
• Manual handling of goods
• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift
• Using an LLOP once trained
• Loading and unloading vehicles when required
• Supporting general warehouse operations
• Following all site Health & Safety procedures
• Ensuring stock is moved and stored correctly

Please note, loading and unloading vehicles will only form a small part of the role.

Shift Pattern

This role works rotating shifts:

06:00 - 14:30
13:30 - 22:00

Monday to Friday

Saturday overtime may be available once fully trained.

Requirements

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift licence is essential
• Previous warehouse experience
• Previous MHE experience preferred
• Comfortable with manual handling
• Reliable and able to work rotating shifts
• Good awareness of Health & Safety

LLOP training can be provided when trainer availability allows.

Candidates will ideally need to provide a copy of their MHE certificates prior to interview.
