Job summary

A.F. Blakemore & Son Ltd invites applications for a Warehouse Operative at the Willenhall depot. You will replenish, ferry and store goods, assemble and load customer orders, and support a fast-paced distribution environment.

Working hours are 0800–1800, with 12-hour shifts when required. The role offers an hourly rate of £13.57 and a comprehensive benefits package including pension, life cover, staff discounts and career development opportunities.

Job purpose

As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a crucial role in the accurate and efficient replenishment, ferrying and bulk storage control within the Willenhall depot. You will undertake normal Warehouse Operative activities such as the assembly and/or loading of customers' orders. We are seeking motivated, friendly, hard-working individuals who thrive in a dynamic work environment.

Key Accountabilities

• Accurate assembly of customer orders
• Loading goods on to cages and/or packing goods into crates in a safe, stable and manageable manner
• Accurate marking and storage of assembled orders awaiting dispatch
• Driving of machinery in a warehouse controlled environment

• Warehousing and distribution experience
• NVQ2 Storage and Warehousing id desired but not essential as training is provided
