Job summary

Quest Employment in Bicester is seeking an experienced Bendi Driver for a busy warehouse role in Bicester. Temporary, ongoing position with pay rates for days and nights and a freezer allowance.

You will work 5 days out of 7 with one weekend day off, operating a Bendi FLT, loading/unloading, and stock handling in a freezer environment where required. All applicants attend an interview before starting.

Qualifications

• External Bendi licence required; in-house licences will not be accepted.
• Previous Bendi experience.
• Good understanding of FLT health & safety.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Flexible to work 5 days out of 7.
• Comfortable working in chilled/freezer environments where required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Bendi FLT.
• Move and store stock throughout the warehouse.
• Load and unload goods.
• Pick and place stock at height.
• Complete general FLT duties as required.

Location: Bicester
Job Type: Temporary, Ongoing

Pay Rate:

• Days: £13.40 per hour

• Nights: £13.90 per hour

• Freezer: Additional £0.50 per hour shift allowance

We are currently recruiting for experienced Bendi Drivers to join a busy warehouse operation in Bicester.

Shift Patterns

You will work 5 days out of 7, with one weekend day always off.

• Days: 6:00am – 3:00pm

• Afternoons: 12:00pm – 9:00pm

• Nights: 9:00pm – 6:00am

The Role

As a Bendi Driver, your responsibilities will include:

• Safely operating a Bendi FLT

• Moving and storing stock throughout the warehouse

• Loading and unloading goods

• Picking and placing stock at height

• Completing general FLT duties as required

• Following site health & safety procedures

• Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment

Freezer Environment

Some shifts will involve working in a freezer environment.

• Additional £0.50 per hour freezer allowance

• Forklifts have heated cabins

• Regular breaks provided every 2 hours

• You may occasionally need to get off the forklift to complete other duties

• Candidates must be comfortable working in cold temperatures

Requirements

• Valid external Bendi licence – in-house licences will not be accepted

You will only need to provide your own safety shoes and dress appropriately/warmly for the working environment.
