Job summary

Interaction Recruitment Group is recruiting Warehouse Operatives for a busy drinks distribution depot in Bedford. You will pick, pack and prepare orders for delivery to pubs, clubs, bars, hotels and restaurants across the region.

The role involves loading/unloading, handling stock, and using handheld scanners. Training is provided, with a temp-to-perm pathway and ongoing long-term work.

Qualifications

• Must be reliable with a positive attitude.
• Able to work in a busy warehouse environment and perform manual handling.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy when picking orders.
• Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
• Works well as part of a team.
• Awareness of warehouse health and safety procedures.
• A Counterbalance or Reach FLT licence is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Picking and packing a variety of drinks products for delivery.
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
• Handling kegs and stacking stock safely.
• Replenishing stock within the warehouse.
• Using handheld scanners to pick orders accurately.
• Completing warehouse paperwork and stock checks.
• Assisting with monthly stock takes.
• Maintaining a clean, safe working environment.

Warehouse Operative Bedford

£13.00-£14.50 per hour, depending on experience | Monday to Friday | 4:00pm Start

Interaction Recruitment is currently recruiting Warehouse Operatives on behalf of our client, working within a busy drinks distribution depot.

This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced warehouse team, helping to ensure drinks orders are picked, packed and ready for delivery to pubs, clubs, bars, hotels and restaurants across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Picking and packing a variety of drinks products ready for customer deliveries.

• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles.

• Handling kegs and stacking and racking stock safely.

• Replenishing stock within the warehouse.

• Using handheld scanners and technology to pick orders accurately.

• Completing warehouse paperwork and checking stock levels.

• Assisting with monthly stock takes.

• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.

What We're Looking For

• A reliable, hardworking individual with a positive attitude.

• Comfortable working in a busy warehouse environment and carrying out physically demanding manual handling.

• Good attention to detail and accuracy when picking orders.

• Good numerical and literacy skills.

• Ability to work well as part of a team.

• Awareness of warehouse health and safety procedures.

• A valid Counterbalance or Reach FLT licence would be an advantage but is not essential.
