Job summary

Terberg DTS (UK) in Elland is seeking a Warehouse Operative Apprentice to gain hands-on experience across all warehouse operations and work toward a Level 2 Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Apprenticeship.

You will learn receiving, stock control, picking, packing, dispatch, and data entry in warehouse systems while attending college one day per month and preparing for the End Point Assessment.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or equivalent preferred.
• Interest in warehousing, logistics, or supply chain operations.
• Willingness to undertake Level 2 Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
• Check incoming stock for damage, shortages or discrepancies.
• Store goods in designated warehouse locations.
• Move stock around the warehouse by hand or forklift where appropriate.
• Enter stock and inventory data into warehouse management systems.
• Support stock counts and inventory checks as required.
• Pick and pack orders accurately for customers and external engineers.
• Prepare deliveries for dispatch and ensure correct destination.
• Ensure products are packaged securely and shipped damage-free.
• Maintain accurate warehouse records and paperwork; keep areas clean and safe.
• Follow company procedures and health and safety requirements.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support operational and customer requirements.
• Attend apprenticeship training and complete coursework.
• Build evidence towards your apprenticeship qualification and EPA.
• Take on a variety of tasks to develop a broad understanding of warehouse operations.
